Professor Ken Myers has had a major interest in venous disease for more than 25 years. He has participated in or organised many international Phlebology meetings. He has been at the forefront of developing new techniques such as ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy and has introduced other new techniques into Australia such as Endovenous Laser Ablation.

  • MS - Master of Surgery, University of Melbourne
  • FRACS – Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons
  • FACS – Fellow of the American College of SurgeonsPast positions held:

Past positions held:

  • Head of the Department of Vascular Surgery, Prince Henry’s Hospital and Monash Medical Centre, Melbourne,
  • Chairman of the Division of Vascular Surgery of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons,
  • President of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Phlebology

Present position held

  • Chancellor of the Australasian College of Phlebology
  • Consultant Surgeon, Monash Medical Centre and Epworth Hospital
